Two things can cause this:
1. Windows is not up-to-date
Please check by clicking on "Check for updates" under Windows Update, even if you think Windows is up-to-date. In addition, you can find more information on Windows Update by clicking here.
2. Third-party anti-virus software blocking the installation.
LASR is code signed with Microsoft and not malicious in any way. However, third-party anti-virus software will often interrupt the download because of reasons. Therefore, you may need to disable your anti-virus software to install LASR.
There are dozens of anti-virus programs that we don't manufacture and cannot provide support for. So if you are having trouble with a third-party anti-virus, you need to contact that program's manufacturer.
Sometimes third-party anti-virus software takes control of the firewall as well. So to be sure, please turn your firewall off during installation:
