I am using infrared laser with CoolFire CO2 recoil gun. I seem to spend far more time fussing with lighting, sensitivity settings, targets, etc. than I do shooting. Then a few strings working ok, then problems. Current problem being the first shot is not getting detected. Will detect second shot on same target. Same thing if using any of 5 targets as first shot. Second, third, forth, and fifth shots work, and even the first target where first shot not detected records a second shot, Just not the first shot

I was told cardboard side of target better than white side. Will try white side and different lighting, sensitivity etc. Have had system for nearly a year, and after a few runs trying to get it to work, I give up and stop using for months, then try again. When it works, it is awesome. Tech support is also good (they take over computer) but once they get settings and lighting adjusted and it works, it stops working the next time I use. The back to several hours trying various sensitivity changes, lighting changes, etc. Very frustrating.
